Hybrid building v.s. Multifuntional building
-Must hybrid building be multifunctional?
-Is multifunctional building only a description about the use of building?
In my opinion hybrid building is definitely multifuntional. The difference between them is that hybrid building creates a public realm at the same time while multifuntional building concentrates on how to integrate different functions into a building. So, the concentration of multifunctional building is the internal relationships of different functions. However, on the basis of multifunctional building, hybrid building also has external relationship with the context of city and social life...(to be continued)
